KTM RC8

Without doubt KTM's RC8 is one of the stars of the Show. The Austrian-built 1190cc V-twin superbike is set to take on the likes of Ducati's 1098 with a combination of handling and power that's hard to resist. Prices are higher than the Japanese competition, but the specification is top-notch.

Yamaha R6

One of the most exciting bikes in Britain has just got a little better. Yamaha's 600cc R6 sportsbike is the scalpel to the Fireblade's broadsword. Lithe, agile and focussed the R6 simply begs to be caned at the track.

Ducati Monster 695

The Monster has been the mainstay of the Ducati range for years - and the all-new 695 looks certain to continue that popularity. It boasts a redesigned frame, a perky 73bhp and a low seat so its great for new riders and anyone without a 30in-plus inside leg

Suzuki GSX-R750

Another not-to-be-missed superbike is the very latest GSX-R750 from Suzuki. Light, fast and focussed the GSX-R750 has been the weapon of choice for talented riders everywhere for over 20 years. And this one, with radial brakes and MotoGP styling is guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone's face.
